Gabriel Reimers

Gabriel is a computer scientist and linguist with a focus on natural language processing.

He had the initial idea for Wokabulary and is responsible for Wokabulary’s product development and user experience.

Gabriel has been developing apps and software for iOS and macOS for almost 15 years. Besides developing various apps, he has also done research on user-generated content and e-learning at the Quality and Usability Lab of TU Berlin.

Gabriel is fascinated by the Korean language and has over 4,000 words in his Wokabulary.

Julius Peinelt

Julius holds a Diploma in musicology and computer science with a focus on spacecrafts and artificial intelligence.

Having wide interests in technologies and programming languages, Julius is our coding expert and knows everything about software development.

Julius loves traveling – especially in Europe and Asia – and uses Wokabulary to remember important phrases. Recently, he started learning Japanese.

Dr. Anna Neovesky

Anna studied history and computer science and holds a Ph.D. in History and Social Sciences, where she wrote about search behavior and digital literacy of historians.

Anna does most of Wokabulary’s interface programming and keeps an eye on cross-platform integration. Together with Gabriel, she was responsible for the re-engineering of Wokabulary in Swift and SwiftUI.

She speaks five languages and keeps learning more. Currently, she is especially improving her French and started learning Finnish.

We are a Berlin-based software studio for macOS and iOS apps.

Wokabulary has been our passion project since 2012.
