Wokabulary 6.5 released: Enhanced Tag Management and Search!
By Gabriel —
We’re excited to announce the release of 6.5! This time we focused on improving the tag management and search. Let’s dive right in and see what’s new:
Improved Tag Management
Managing your tags just got even easier! Now, you can sort your tags by date, frequency, or name, giving you more control over how you organize and access your tags.
Filter Words by Excluding Tags
Want to do a quiz on all words except those tagged as grammar
or basic
?
Now you can filter words by excluding specific tags, making it easier to focus on the vocabulary you want to study.
Uniform Blur for Flash Card Quiz Answers
Ever felt like the length of the answer gave away too much in your flash card quizzes? Not anymore! With the new setting, you can now use a uniform blur for quiz answers, ensuring that the length doesn’t give away any hints.
Improved Search for Multiple Languages
We’ve fine-tuned the search functionality for Hebrew, French, Italian, and Spanish. The search will now reliable yield words that have abbreviated articles or are part composed words. For example, when searching for aéroport
it will now correctly find l’aéroport
. And searching for pool
will yield swimming-pool
as well.
Larger Font Size for Comments
Comments are now displayed in a larger font size, especially improving legibility for scripts with fine details like Chinese, Japanese, Thai, or Hebrew.
Bug Fixes
- The word editing view will now update when the word is simultaneously edited on another device
- Fixed an issue that the interactive quiz widget would not work correctly
We’re thrilled to bring you these enhancements to Wokabulary, and we hope they make your vocabulary learning journey even more enjoyable and effective.
